The PVC tensile structures, located in areas subject to snow fall, are exposed to possible failure of the roof, due to the weight of the snow. Thermal Technology has designed and built a light and practical solution in assembly / disassembly, which allows to secure the tensile structure.

In the occasion of unpredicted and abundant snowfalls the PVC covers, for example pressostatic balls, tent structures, gazebos etc. can be subject to hazardous overcharges due to the weight of the snow which can lead to the collapse of the structure. The snow-melting membrane heats the entire surface of the roof, melting both snow and ice.

Operational Features:

Reinforced carbon fibre resistors interposed between a PVC cloth and adhesive tissue. Fast and easy application using perimetral rings for the hanging of the turnbuckles. It must be turned on in case of snow fall or even if the snow has already fallen. Snow-melting membrane is designed and manufactured according to needed shapes and sizes.

Carbon fiber is flexible, does not oxidize, does not produce harmful electromagnetic fields during electricity flow, has no dimensional variations as the temperature changes nor deterioration of ohmic values. No wearing and no maintenance required. Its high resistivity permits significant energy savings.

• Membrane in PVC
• Carbon fibre resistors on adhesive aluminum foil Polyester fabric
• 10 mm diam. rings on the perimetre with a pace of 19 to 50 cm.
